  • Safe From Trafficking

The Mary Diana Samuel home and Shelter in Tamil Nadu was established in 2010 by Dr. and Mrs. Aaron Samuel, who lost their own daughter to an automobile accident. The home was built to honor Mary Diana’s dream to be a “mother of many children.”

“Through our initiative, we have seen many lives changed for the better. When these girls come to us, most are illiterate and have little or next to no chance of receiving an education. Often abandoned, the fate of these girls are very grim: the lucky ones will make their living as day laborers: however, many will inevitably be exploited and sold to human sex traffickers. Once the girls become accustomed to the loving and nurturing home environment and the challenging school environment, they quickly rise to the top of the classes. ALL of our girls rank in the top national percentiles on their test scores.”
